My studio contains many different projects happening at the same time. The walls can be filled with landscape paintings, sometimes self portraits on aging, and always ideas I am developing for my opera. In the summer, I spend a lot of time in my garden, which I compose as if it were a painting. I also love to teach drawing to young people and encourage them to observe the world around them. My camera is always with me and I bring what I photograph back to my studio.
